The presence of octopamine in the brain ofHelix aspersa and its action on specific snail neurones

Résumé L'octopamine est présente dans le tissue nerveus l'escargot,Helix aspersa. Elle a un effet fortement inhibitoire sur certains neurones. Ces neurones sont aussi sensibles à la dopamine et à la noradrénaline. Le mécanisme possible de l'action de l'octopamine est discuté.

Zusammenfassung Es wird gezeigt, dass bei Entfernung eines Teiles der wasserlöslichen Phase einer meta-stabilen, verkalkenden Lösung, Kalk- und Phosphorionen so angereichert werden, dass «kristallisierte Kerne» von Hydroxyapatit auftreten.

The fiber spectrum of the cat VI nerve to the lateral rectus and retractor bulbi muscles

Zusammenfassung Das Faserspektrum des VI Hirnnerven der Katze wurde an 3 Stellen bestimmt: Austrittsstelle aus dem Pons, Verzweigungsstelle zum M. rectus lateralis und zum M. retractor bulbi. Wenigstens 3 verschiedene Typen motorischer Fasern wurden ermittelt: 1. grosse, dick myelinisierte, 2. kleine, dünn myelinisierte, 3. kleine, dick myelinisierte. Die Verzweigungsstelle zum M. retractor bulbi besteht hauptsächlich aus dem 1. Fasertyp.
